New shoots from the shrubs have sprung With a lighter gentler green. Many songs they haven't sung! Many things they haven't seen. If not eaten they'll survive To attain maturity. They all have a will to thrive And the wider world to see. Given time they all will age And look just like all the rest. But they will become more sage And with fate be not obsessed. | ||
