The Daffodil | ||
Bravely blooms the daffodil, Pushing up by force of will. Though the winter is not gone, She is ready to come on. Yellow blossom full of cheer Suddenly will now appear, Ready to proclaim her joy That the cold cannot destroy. Days of gloom may come again Yet we will remember when Daffodil came out to sing, Fit for any queen or king. | ||
