Sammy the Squirrel | ||
| Parker and Caroline went for a walk They were so happy they hardly could talk. Up in a tree was a busy gray squirrel, They didn't know if a boy or a girl. So they just asked him, "Hey what is your name?" He said "I'm Sammy, and I am quite tame." They said, "Well, come down and for something to eat; We have some nuts that you might find a treat." Sammy came down and ate up all the food. Then he said "Thank you," for he was not rude. Off they all went to play hide and go seek. Later they went for a swim in the creek. | ||
