| Hardy leaves will linger on After all their friends have gone. Maybe they were better fed Or spent more time in their bed. Maybe they were sheltered well So they could the seasons tell. God has given them the strength For a life of greater length. So that ere they fin'ly tire They have more time to inspire. They must always do their best So they earn their final rest. | ||
