The Stream | ||
Children like to cross a stream, Watching running water gleam. From each rock they seek the next, Though their parents may be vexed. If they have a yellow duck They can float it, with some luck. Every stream's a challenge new In the life of me and you. We must cross each one with care, Uttering a heartfelt prayer. If the water's swift and deep, We must well our balance keep. But the Lord will see us through As with all we say or do. | ||
