Some things happen right on time, Other things may be delayed. You continue with your rhyme, Not abashed and not dismayed. Time is like a slippery eel, One that you cannot contain. Though its presence you can feel, You can't make its tail remain. Make the best of every day, Ruing not what might have been. If the time has fled away, It is not a mortal sin. | ||
