A Clean Path

If you want a path that's clean,
You must clean it every year.
Otherwise it's overgrown
So that it is hardly known.
Openness one can't expect
From a path that's seen neglect.
It requires a bit of work,
But you should not duty shirk.
Maybe brains need cleaning, too!
Clutter can obstruct the view.
Let the unimportant go
And the transcendental show.
