Ficus | ||
How the mighty ficus tree Sends its roots for all to see, Stretching out and all around Till they touch at last the ground. Even if a storm should roar They remain as just before. They can last a century If they're left to ramble free. We get strength from our roots, too, Children born to me and you. They'll support us when we're old And protect us from the cold. | ||
