| Feathers, sequins, beads, and brass Give the costumes lots of class. Drummers with a steady beat Help the dancers move their feet. All are joining in the song As the units move along. Lavish floats with smoke and light Add to splendor in the night. Graceful bearers of the flat Never let the banner drag. There are many maidens fair! Some their bosom proudly bare. Spectators will hardly yawn In the stands from dusk to dawn. | ||
