| As I sat beside a stream, Ere I had much time to dream, Came a hummingbird so near, Showing very little fear. She would hover in the air Giving me a patient stare. Then she'd move a little ways To repeat her friendly gaze. Humans few had come her way, Never stopping long to stay. She was sent from God to be Reassuring there for me. | ||
