Gingerbread Cookies | ||
| Gingerbread cookies are sweet to the taste. If I'm not careful, I'll eat them in haste. Some are adorned with bright pieces of fruit. They are delicious from shoulder to boot. There are more welcome because they are rare. That's why their goodness I loudly declare. Hail to be bakers who made them so well So that we have such a story to tell. They may induce us to put on some weight, But that would not be a terrible fate. Praise to the Lord for our gingerbread boys. They are the source of our seasonal joys. | ||
