Every person's life must end To begin a life anew. On our God we must depend, Just to pass the portal through. Death may be a slow affair, Or as sudden as a wink. We must trust in God's great care As we from the hemlock drink. Death is hard on those behind Who must grieve for one who's gone. May they consolation find So that they continue on. | ||
