Butterfly | ||
In the pool a butterfly Looked as though it had to die. Maybe it was old or hurt, Floating now so still, inert. Yet when lifted to the shore It began to stir once more. Giving wings some time to dry, It could try again to fly. May we ever be alert To the people who are hurt. If we exercise our role We can help to make them whole. | ||
