Birds | ||
Pity birds within a cage, Flapping pitifully in rage. They are longing to be free As they all were meant to be. They can see the others fly, Calling them as they pass by. Captive birds must curse their fate. All they do is mourn and wait. Maybe then can learn to cope, Living on a thread of hope, Or perhaps they are content Thinking where they one day went. | ||
