Even from a healthy plant Leaves at last will start to fall. You don't see it rave and rant, Even if it sheds them all. Humans too will lose their strength When it's time for them to die. Every life will have its length, Never longer though they try. May we shed our leaves with grace As the hand of time moves on. Life's an ever-slower race Till at last we all are gone. | ||
