When we read the daily news We can stop to pick and choose. If a headline grabs us wrong, We don't have to string along. We just read selectively, Seeing what we want to see. Our perception thus is flawed, And we are not overawed. We dismiss reality To a very great degree. But the news is always there, Even if we do not care. | ||
