| A dog has left a lasting mark Upon the steps that climb the park. The day he found the fresh cement He took the time to make a dent. His print is there for all to see, A paw to show posterity. What mark can we as humans leave So our descendants will believe Our life was not a trip in vain But something that had left a gain? Who knows what we can find to do To leave a mark before we're through. | ||
