Winter | ||
Wintry winds have stripped the trees Of their red and yellow leaves. Birds are searching for a seed 'Midst the odd surviving weed. Squir'ls have built a cozy nest Stocked with nuts and room to rest. Trunks are dancing on the stream 'Cause the breeze distorts the beam. All the critters surely know They must soon contend with snow. Every season has its time In the northern temperate clime. | ||
