Skimming o'er the lake so wide Till we reach the other side We absorb the sun's hot ray In the middle of the day. 'Tis a peaceful, pretty sight In the glaring mid-day light. Titikaka is its name. How it merits all its fame. On an island dry and brown Live the craftsmen of renown Who use reeds to build a boat That is sturdy when afloat. | ||
