Leaving in the midst of night Somehow doesn't seem quite right. Everything should be asleep But we must our schedule keep. Yes, the hours that we have lost Do not come without a cost. If our energy we sap We may need to take a nap. But the body will adjust, Doing well whate'er it must. Dawn will come before we know, With its reassuring glow. | ||
