Life

Life is like a piece of cake.
It may take some time to make.
One must sift it through and through,
To prevent a pit or two.
When it's done and fit to eat,
Icing will be very sweet.
Yet in time when it is old
One must be alert for mold.
Freshness will one day be stale,
Just as rosy cheeks turn pale.
One must watch one's life, like cake,
And the right decisions make.
