The View

Even though the skies aren't blue,
You can get a dandy view
From a rugged mountain peak
If its lofty height you seek.
You can watch life's wheel a-spin,
Seeing places you have been.
You can see where you may go,
In the city far below.
God enjoys this constant view,
Watching over me and you.
Though we two but mortals be,
We can glimpse infinity.
