Training Climb

When the heat is less intense,
Hiking makes a lot more sense.
You enjoy the gentle breeze
As it wafts between the trees.
When tall grass is wet with dew
It is great for cooling you.
Every time you scale the hill,
You perform an act of will.
Every day the task will ease
As you're training by degrees.
Afterwards there is the pool,
With refreshing water cool.
