Muscles

After many months of rest,
Muscles are not at their best.
When you try to stretch them more
They react by getting sore.
Training can restore their pep
So they're ready for each step.
Minds and hearts can also be
Subject to some atrophy.
If you leave them to go stale
They will surely start to fail.
Train your muscles and your brain
So they can withstand some pain.
