A Different Slate | ||
Every morning as I sit, Waiting for the muse to hit, I just keep an open mind, Never knowing what I'll find. Soon the thoughts begin to flow, Sometimes fast and sometimes slow. I may travel to the moon, Whistling out a happy tune. I may contemplate the past, Or the future, coming fast. Every day's a different slate! That is cause to celebrate. | ||
