Punctuality | ||
Longer grows the creeping vine. It is happy, rain or shine, Stretching out along the rail. Will its vigor never fail? Leaves of bright and shining green Are so glad they can be seen. Every week a leaf or two Comes unrolled and into view. 'Tis a vine that speaks of pow'r, Growing longer by the hour, Showing us that we must grow In the things we do and know. Punctuality (12-18-95) Punctuality is rare In a balmy tropic land. There is always time to spare And the folks will understand. So you get there when you can, Never fretting 'bout the clock. Life has an elastic plan, Time to circumvent a block. Take it easy and you'll find Things are not a bloody mess. You will have more peace of mind, And avoid the pain of stress. | ||
