Champion Bull | ||
| The champion bull has a ring in his nose So he can be led by a pole, I suppose. He docilely waits or his turn in the show, So confident he will be earning a bow. He never imagined another fine bull Would charm all the judges with much greater pull. The other contestant has taken his place So he is escorted away in disgrace. It's hard for a mortal to have glory last, So relish it fully before it is past. | ||
