Boulders

Boulders fall upon the way,
Blocking passage for a while.
But if we will humbly pray,
We may turn a frown to smile.
Maybe they will roll aside,
Like the boulder at the grave.
Maybe we can take a stride,
Skirting them like rushing wave.
Or perhaps we'll climb atop
And discover some way down,
Careful, so we will not drop,
With a smile instead of frown.
