Lonely tree upon the crest Peers at us in valley floor. It is thinking, "I'm the best! Who could ever ask for more? It is basking in the sun, Stretching links to catch the breeze. It is having so much fun, A majestic life of ease. Yet one day it may be struck By a fiery lightning flash That would end its streak of luck, Causing it to burn and crash. | ||
