After the Rain

After rain has shed its blessing,
Giving leaves a dewy dressing,
Waterfalls are swiftly gushing
As in haste they're downward rushing.
How the air is sweet and pleasant,
Like a peacock or a pheasant.
Everything is clean and fresher.
Life is free from care and pressure.
Sun is rising to its glory,
Ready to unfold a story.
Let us listen with attention
To whatever it may mention.
