| Speak to me, Lord, in the calm of the morn. Strengthen my spirit, I'll not be forlorn. Show me the way that you want me to go. Teach me the knowledge I have yet to know. Help me to see all the bumps in the road So that I know what tomorrow may bode. Speak to me, Lord, in the heat of the day, Lest I grow dizzy and wander astray. Give me more patience with all whom I meet. Help me to all of my duties complete. Speak to me, Lord, in the dark of the night, Giving me confidence, banishing fright. Show me the way to be safe in your nest When it is time for my spirit to rest. | ||
