| Stepping stones upon life's stream Bring us closer to our dream. Some are solid, firm and flat, Showing clearly where they're at. Some are wobbly, sharp, or loose! They are not the ones to choose. Sometimes they are far apart, But they're there, so don't lose heart. Watch your balance lest you fall As you try to walk so tall. Some large stones may slip'ry be, Lurking there for you and me. If we slip we'll rise again, Somewhat wet and wiser then. | ||
