| The world lifts up its voice in song To praise the longed-for savior's birth. The news can make the weak ones strong And bring the sad ones instant mirth. The long travail and night of gloom Give way to joy now Christ is here. With open hearts we give Him room And bid Him stay throughout the year. His birth has changed the way we think And even how we reckon years. All those who totter on the brink Can count on him to calm their fears. | ||
