| In the abbey dark and cool Monks have bowed their heads to pray. They will always keep their rule And inure their mortal clay. Fasting brings them close to God, Broadening their field of view. They approach where few have trod, Ready to make all things new. Silence helps the monks to see All is working in God's plan. They see through the mystery God has promised unto man. | ||
