Leaping Lizards | ||
Leaping lizards flick their tongues As they scale the ladder's rungs. Having had their fill of flies They are seeking a surprise. Maybe they would like some cake With sweet frosting that's not fake. Flies are such a tiresome snack And they leave the tongue so black. Leaping lizards jump to trees, Scaling branches by degrees. If, perchance, they start to frown, You may see them coming down. | ||
