Times to Shine | ||
| Leafy gumdrops line our way, Wishing us a pleasant day. Cherry, orange, lemon, too! There is every shade but blue. Mile on mile the shimmer past. What a pity they won't last. Warmed by day, yet cooled by night, They are helped to be so bright. You and I have seasons, too, Times when we can shine, it's true. When at last our limbs are bare We'll remember, not despair. | ||
