Newlyweds

The bride and groom have said their vows
As radiant as can be.
Their hands are now upon their plows
To forge their destiny.
They'll try for furrows true and straight
Despite some rocky soil.
They'll try to turn the hand of fate
From all the pests that spoil.
The newlyweds want crops of love
That flourish every year.
They'll put their faith in God above
And keep His spirit near.
