Sunrise, Sunset | ||
The sleepy sun is still abed, Awaiting its appointed time. It soon will paint me orange and red. I take it as a happy sign. Before too long it will appear As it has always done before To banish any gloomy fear And lead the world to peace, not war. Here now it rises, firm and true, To banish clouds of doubt away. It tips its hat to sky of blue And bids it have a tranquil day. | ||
