| Pride can take you for a ride. It can lift you when you're down. But if you've excessive pride, You're left looking like a clown. Do not lift your nose and preen, Telling others you are great. If you're good it will be seen. There's no need to celebrate. Keep your pride within yourself. Do not wear it on your sleeve. Tell it to a little elf That you would not dare deceive. | ||
