Although we strive so very hard, At times we don't succeed. We hold ourselves in high regard Yet bend like tender reed. We think we do the best we can And try not to offend. But we may be an also-ran On whom one can't depend. Reality won't make us flag. We'll still retain our zeal. Although we've little cause to brag We trust our wounds will heal. | ||
