Winter Wins | ||
| The mercury has sunk so low I wonder if the car will go. I don't see how a bird could thrive, Or anything stay out alive. Although the sun is shining bright There's not a bit of warmth in sight. It does its best, with mighty pow'r, But cannot bring us cheer this hour. The arctic wind has won today. It beat the sun, but may not stay. The sun will wait a few months' time Until again it reigns sublime. | ||
