Hurricane | ||
The hurricane is bearing down. All but fools have left the town. As waves are crashing on the shore, Few can stand it any more. The pilings crumble from the force, Though the storm has changed its course. The winds are shrieking as they pass, Tossing people just like grass. Who knows the reason it is here? We hope it soon will disappear. We long for when the eye is past; Although it's fierce it cannot last. | ||
