Berries | ||
Leafy fingers scratch the sky, Prompting one to wonder why. Cat-like claws will tear and scratch All intruders in the patch. Still we pick the berries sweet That we see along the street. Though the pricks are sharp indeed We do not their warning heed. Poison ivy causes fear. We wish it would disappear. Other plants are welcome friends That have many useful ends. | ||
