Snakes | ||
Snakes were lurking in the wood, Catching any mice they could. They're afraid of you and me. They will flee when us they see. They ate the mice and rabbits, too, But they won't bother me and you. Don't begrudge the snakes their meal. They've a place upon life's wheel. God has made them, sure and true. They must have a job to do. Let them eat their game at will As they slither round the hill. | ||
