| Day by day we fill life's book. One more page is ours to write. We should take a careful look So we know our black from white. Every day brings one more chance To achieve some little goal. We must not remain in trance! Time will take its heavy toll. God will show us what to do If we but His counsel pray. We can make a friendship new If we try our best today. | ||
