Stretching the Mind | ||
The mind is like a rubber band. It's stretching far from things at hand. It scans the past to things we've done And peers ahead to future fun. The more we stretch the rubber band We find horizons will expand. But if we stretch it overly 'Twill snap, and then where will we be? So spend some time on here and now. Look for the fertile fields to plow. Don't stretch the mind so recklessly That you ignore the good you see. | ||
