Hardy Perennials | ||
Some blossoms last no more than a day. Others are blooming for weeks on the way. What kind of flower will you and I be? Short-lived but lovely for others to see, Never enduring to any degree? Or shall we hardy perennials be? Often the petals are showy indeed, But we should also the stems and leaves heed. Beauty may like underneath someone's skin, Hidden so well it's hard to see in. Let us enjoy it wherever it's found, In someone's heart or attached to the ground. | ||
