| Here it is, a virgin year, Like a roadway wide and clear. 'Tis a slate with nothing writ, Nothing started, nothing quit. Let us vow to use it well! Work awhile and rest a spell. Time is precious!not to waste, Yet we must not yield to haste. We shall start the year in style, Greeting friends with hug and smile. They are better than great wealth.
