Hidden Buds | ||
Though the branches look quite bare As they face the winter air, Buds are hiding on each shoot. In the spring they'll substitute Leaves for those that fell away To restore a happy day. People, too, have buds I guess, Hidden under all their stress. Given warmth and time they bloom, Sporting leaves to pierce the gloom. Let us nurture those we see To fulfill their destiny. | ||
