Pollution | ||
Polluted air distorts the view. I long for clearer days, But there is nothing I can do To pierce the filthy haze. I have to take it as it is, For beauty still lies there. The champagne hasn't lost its fizz; The garden still is fair. With people, too, I must attempt To see beneath their skin. Although they look a bit unkempt They may have joy within. | ||
